The Gem & Jewelery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) will organize an exhibition and symposium on the detection of synthetic diamonds (Diamond Detection Expo & Symposium, DDES) 2015 in Mumbai.
According to the organizers of the event, which will be held within two days on December 15 and 16, it will become a platform for companies offering equipment and machinery for identifying synthetic diamonds. In addition, gemological laboratories and service companies will be able to interact with representatives of trade.
Within the framework of DDES there will be an exhibition where the solutions and services of companies will be demonstrated, as well as a series of seminars. Entrance to the exhibition will be free for all members of the diamond industry and jewelry with them, but participants still have to register in advance.
This symposium will be part of the GJEPC and BDB measures to prevent the penetration of unsolved synthetic diamonds into the market in lots of natural stones.
