Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. announced that the first production at the part was hers diamond project Gacho Quay (Gahcho Kué) in the Northwest Territories, Canada, is expected to be made in the third quarter of 2016.

Permanent staff workers at the mine now stands at 290 people, including 91 experienced professionals who have been transferred from the mine Snap Lake (Snap Lake) company De Beers.
Pending receipt of the first products Mountain Province has already signed all the necessary agreements to ensure the receipt, sorting and sale of its stake in mining diamonds Gacho Quay.
Gacho Quay Project is a joint venture between Mountain Province (49%) and De Beers Canada (51%).
